 I'd
like to talk to you about the basics of retirement planning. Retirement planning
is different for everyone--what may be the right
investments for one person may not be right for someone else. That's why it's
important to figure out what works best for you!
In order to take full advantage of all the AHRP has to offer, it's important
for you to:
- determine how much you need to save for retirement.
- determine how you should invest for retirement.
That's where this handy guide comes in. In a few steps you will be able to:
- estimate how much you should be contributing to your AHRP TSA.
- learn about the building blocks of your retirement investment options.
- assess your time horizon and attitude towards "risk."
- determine how to choose your investments.
