The mission of the Adventist HealthCare Retirement Plan is to provide participants with
a balanced approach to retirement planning and to encourage, under God's guidance, responsible use of the AHRP
by:
- encouraging use of Christian principles in providing themselves adequate funds for their retirement years so as not to become a burden to family or
society;
- encouraging adequate contributions to retirement accounts in a broad
spectrum of investment choices to balance with current family needs and support of church and other charities;
- encouraging planning for retirement years so as to include service to community, church and
society; and
- encouraging constant building of a strong faith and trust in God as essential to a secure retirement.
